Our set: Melco N1Z, NAC N 272 with XP5XS, NAP 300 DR, PROAC Response K6 speakers, Chord signature reference speaker cables, Audioquest power cables.
First listening impression: there is less sharpness, it is more musical and detailed, less tiring to listen to but a bit flat and powerless in the mid and bass reagion compared to original Naim cables. A good start anyway….
After two weeks of listening and burning in: sound started to change in positive way, the high reagon is beautiful, so detailed, musical and bright but not sharp and tiring (important!). The mid and bass are starting to open up, and sound is now beautiful, detailed and well balanced and controlled.
This is great stuff and value for money, well done!
A very nice present for under the X-mas tree…….

Tested using, digital side, DCS rossini & clock, turntable, Rega P10 and aura into Naim 552dr, 500dr, into PMC fact 12 speakers.
Standard naim burndy cables and witchhat phantom and Morgana xlr.
Was looking to upgrade the standard naim XLR between the 500 and 552, as the standard cables are not to the same high quality you would expect with a 500dr costing over £20k.
I did look at naim super lumina at first and tried some x demo once, yes they certainly made a difference but i didn’t feel that they represented good valve for money and so i decided to look elsewhere.
Having been happy with my witchhat N2 speaker cable, i decided to try them once again and ordered a pair.
I found them an improvement straight away and over the next few weeks got even better, certainly had extra detail and tighter bass and sounded more open than before. In fact i was that impressed that i ordered some lovely phantom speaker cables to go with them, which once again opened the system up even more.
So very happy with the morgana XLR cables and for the price i dont think you will find better, plus i like the chequer outer cover and the build quality is spot on.
So happy i have just ordered a morgana RCA to din to use on the rossini.

Very good performance and a significant improvement on the standard interconnects supplied by Naim. Well worth the money.

2 x Morganas between a NACN-272 streamer and 300DR amp, and 2 x 4m Phantom speaker cable.
Straight out of the very nice boxes there was a softer nicer edge to R4 [BBC HD stream via the 272], and after leaving them running in the background for a few days before some serious listening it was clear that this was a significant improvement – smoother firmer bass, greater clarity and more focus to the whole soundstage. It prompted a bit of experimentation that ended with the speakers (ATC SCM40s) firing straight ahead instead of the usual toe-in that never quite seemed to be spot on. Suddenly everything has opened out and sounds more correct and distinct. I’d put this combination of Morgana and Phantom on a par with a black box upgrade, almost like going from an XPSDR to a 555PSDR to power the 272, the improvement has been that good.
For what they cost relative to Naim’s 300 + 272/555 these are a superb upgrade. Witch Hat offer a 30 day return if not satisfied, after less than a week these were definitely keepers.

Well i have been trying various makes of cables all last year, nine of them really made much difference in my system. System is Naim ND555/552dr/500dr/PMC25.26 with Kudos KS-1 speaker cable. Many advised me to try Superlumina, i tried the source cable, did not sound any better than my Hiline. I tried the source and din to xlr SL cables, actually sounded very dull and flat compared to my standard Naim cabling. I then tried an £8k full-loom inc speaker cable, still i was not really hearing any benefit. I also tried True audio Signal source/ din to xlr, not bad but too bright to my ears. I then tried the Tellurium range, but this also did not bring any benefits.
So with this in mind and despairing of trying more cables, my expectations were not high. I had excellent advice from Mitch who sorted me out along with Nick. So first up i replaced the standard Naim din to xlr mono pair, straight out of the box it was like wow. The music just came alive, more vibrant, more detail, bass tighter and lower, midrange and vocals are just amazing. In short this was what i was searching for.
The source 5 pin din to din turned up a little later, its slightly better than my Hiline, but its almost half the price.
These are great cables, i cannot wait for the Morgana burndies to be available.
Great job guys.

I’ve recently added an XLR mono pair between the Supercap and the 135s (olive series). They really are a no brainer and I’m looking at the prior comments and I agree – the sound is more open, crisper, more detailed and bass is stronger and deeper. It is an upgrade I’d not have thought to make but it is a great way to get more from the system without spending lots more. The cables themselves are well made and good looking. In making the decision to buy Nic was very helpful, answering endless questions as only a true enthusiast could, and you’ve always got the 30 days return policy that I knew I wouldn’t be using after about the first half hour!

I have added a DIN XLR pair of Morgana cables to my Nac 552/ Nap 500 amplifier. The source is a ND555/ 2 X 555DR power supplies.
The Morgana cables replaced Naim Super Lumina
I allowed the Morgana cables to burn in over a two week period. When comparing both cables, initially the Naim Super Lumina seems to be the superior cable. The detail retrieva, soundscape are very impressive.
However over time listening to the Naim cable becomes quite tiring. Specifically the SuperLumina emphasises siblance.
The Morgana cables on the other hand demonstrate understated capabilities, facilitating effortless velvet almost analogue like sound that is eminently listenable.
Quite simply, the Morgana cable is absolutely stunning, regardless whether I am listening to The Clash or Clannad.
Considering the price differentual between the Naim SuperLumina and Morgana cable, it’s a relative audiophile bargain.
If you purchase a Morgana cable instead of the SuperLumina, you will not only be rewarded
with mellifluous sound, you will also have a considerable amount of money to buy more music downloads, CD’s and or Vinyl LP’s!
I am so happy with my Morgana DIN XLR cable, I ordered 3 more cables for my Naim Uniti Nova/ Nap 250DR systems.
Try it for yourself in your system. If the Morgana doesn’t perform to your preferences, you can return it to WithHat for a refund. In my opinion it’s an absolute no brainer!

I have finally found the time to unpack and install the Morgana DIN to XLR cables that replace the Naim lighting flex cables between the Supercap and the NAP135s.
First impressions are of the case. It’s fabulous, like a case for an expensive necklace. It feels delightfully, luxuriously decadent. Could Witch Hat save a few pounds and use a cheaper box? Sure, but it wouldn’t be so lovely. This case radiates positive waves of quality.
Next, the cables. They look really well made. Reassuringly expensive, as a top if the line item should. Direction indicators, labels and colour bands all make it so easy to fit them correctly. But boy are they stiff. The standard Naim cables are as flexible as wet spaghetti but these are more like Burndies. A few minutes was needed to hide in a dark cupboard for a heavy session of cable massaging to get them into the right shape for fitment in the system.
Now for a first listen. Alicia Keys and Rita Ora had sounded ever so slightly like they were going through the motions. Nothing had been wrong and no boxes needed a service and yet… Now try again with the Morgana in place.
Gosh. Music sounds a bit fuller, slightly richer, as though the mid-bass has filled out slightly. But it isn’t fat ‘n loose, in fact it’s tight as a mallard’s derrière. Bass lines sound fuller, go deeper and are more articulate. Music is calmer too in a good way, as though the background noise is quieter. Dynamic range on transients seems a little greater, so music is crisper and clearer.
However, here’s the biggest upgrade. The system times better than ever. Stuff all the hifi descriptors, we simply want to turn the wick up and dance around the room to dance tracks. This is awesome.
The Morganas are keepers. Absolutely delighted. They put all the joy and fun into music.

Set: 252/SC/300DR/NA5/Triangle Duetto.
Loved unboxing them. Nice case. Beautiful cables.
I received them a few days ago. By UPS. The post-Brexit transport was not spotless. After having necessarily contacted many UPS representatives – the reward was magical.
The increased tunefulness of the system was obvious. Almost every song a sing-along. We’re like the von-Trapp family now. Just love it. Wanted more. And put the Phantom cables on order.

NAC52 NAP300DR etc.
After having ordered the cables I sat back and though bloody hell that’s a lot of money, should I have!! I’ve now received and installed them. I’m convinced from the from the first few minutes greater “fluidity”, tighter all round, very very good

What a big improvement on my near Klimax level Karousel Aro LP 12, Oppo 205 based arrangement. This from using the original xlr hatpins ; 52 supercap 135s. Everything that is wonderful appears to have been said on the previous reviews. The greater clarity, lower noise, naturalness and lovely detail etc. From that I have also found the music is now enhanced or even blessed with a worthwhile extra shot of emotional involvement. There is actually some more interest with a finer or more intense expression. This is particularly apparent with my always overlooked small CD collection which is a strange surprise. Two weeks plus.
