Our No Questions Asked Guarantee
When we set out to create an upgrade cable we knew people would be skeptical with all the cable-voodoo that goes on in the HiFi world. So we decided to offer a 30 day no questions asked money back guarantee.
You’ll be able to try them in your own system, with your own surroundings, and if you don’t think it makes a difference you can send them back for a full refund.

So where do I start? I have always had a bee in the bonnet in regard to how a signal can be bundled under the same sheath as power lines aka the standard Naim Burndy one gets with the 552 pre. When I caught wind of WH developing an enhanced Burndy where the power and signal leads are separated I got interested. Furthermore the signal side was addressed with Morgana standard, the benefits I am familiar with having “experimented” with a 4-5pin din lead from my Supercap(being fed by the Superline phono stage) into the 552. So, fast forward to February when Mr.UPS delivered my 552 Morgana Burndy. From the first 30mins or so of listening to familiar tracks it was obvious the 552MB had something to give over and above the Naim 552 Burndy.
My subsequent listening sessions were met with a grin as how could a (552MB)cable in the middle of my melody of Super-Lumina/WH loom make so much difference? The easiest way to describe the improvement was equivalent to adding a 555PS to the whole system, coming from not having one. And that says something as I run two 555PSs elsewhere in my system. Bass gets tightened up, more 3D space around vocals and instruments, just more detail overall. A note about the bass – how can a cable remove the slight “tubbiness” at the very low frequencies and snap bass lines into focus? Another observation with the 552MB is that it has at a noticeable level made my speakers disappear – before it was obvious of the two point sources firing at me, now it is the whole back wall singing to me! I await with eagerness for my second Morgana Burndy to hook up between the Superline/Supercap for my vinyl source! So, it goes without saying my 552MB is staying. The Morgana standard is a force to be reckoned with – so much so that I’m considering switching out my Super-Lumina din-XLR mono pair for the Morgana equivalent….hmmmm!

Well the new burndy is still burning in but already a major improvement on the stock Naim cable. It’s bringing out more detail and has tightened up the bass, I’m hearing words that have beeen hard to make out previously.
I’m running a vinyl system with a Tangerine LP12, 552, Supercap DR and Snaxo, 2x Nap 300’s into SL2’s. I have a Sarum T from LP12 to Nac 552 and Morganas through to the amps. All except the Snaxo burndy which hasn’t arrived yet! Looking forward to getting this one and having the full loom.

I was surprised when i opened the box as i was expecting a cable similar to the Naim one it was replacing. It is clear the engineers at Witch hat have given the routing of the Signal and power supply some thought. The design is two cables which come together
at the burndy connector and are just held apart. The quality of connectors and cable are exemplary.
Having listened to this cable now for a couple of days i am delighted, this was obviously a bottle neck in the system. The music has more detail, with a more natural sound and the decay of notes is easy to hear, piano notes sound just wonderful. It’s easy to pick on certain aspects but everything has improved including bass presentation. This is an expensive cable, but well worth the money imo. Please keep the innovative products coming guys.

Great cable I get more detail and clarity around notes and their decay, particularly pleased with how piano and drum cymbals sound. But this is not at the expense of musicality.
Very pleased, a nice upgrade

I ordered both the Morgana 552 Burndy as the Anaconda. Took a while before I could start testing since a new ordered Naim NAC552 took a while for delivery. Now it is all in place.
Unpacking the Burndy immediately reveals its very high build quality. It feels more solid than the original Burndy. Details are very well built and the overall impression is super.
Using both the Anaconda and Morgana 552 Burndy for a number of days and the additional level of detail and clarity immediately shows up. Bass seems also firmer and better imaged.
I am using several Withchat cables now amongst Phantoms, Morgana Mono XLS pair and now the Anaconda/Morgana 552 Burndy. None of them ever disappointed.
